The connector is designed to securely clamp the pipe using a material-friendly plug-in technique. It remains permanently sealed and ensures a trouble-free and stress-free installation even under challenging mounting conditions. The pipe only needs to be inserted – there is no need to check if, for example, a compression nut is tightened correctly.
Technical Structure
The connection system is designed so that the pipe is subjected to stress via the clamping ring only to the extent required by the respective compressive and tensile forces. This ensures a gentle fixation that protects the material and reliably prevents the pipe material from being overloaded.
A metal clamping claw, thanks to its precise positioning, ensures torsion-free installation and guarantees a secure, stable connection.
The modular design also allows for easy disassembly, with all components being reusable without restriction.
For applications in the gas sector, the connector is additionally equipped with an integrated support tube, which increases pipe stability and ensures long-term, reliable operation.
Material
All components that come into contact with drinking water are made of high-quality UBA-compliant material. The material is suitable for drinking water hygiene and complies with the legal requirements (Drinking Water Ordinance, UBA list). drinking water ordinance, UBA list). The reliable brass material ensures a particularly long durability
Sealing
For applications in the water sector, the connector is fitted with a tried-and-tested EPDM profile seal that reliably seals even minor damage to the pipe surface. In versions designed for the gas sector, a specially tailored NBR O-ring is used instead.
Thanks to the clear separation of the sealing and clamping functions, both systems operate independently of one another, which further enhances the connector’s operational reliability.
