Material
Our valves are made from completely lead-free material (Ecobrass). Thanks to its low zinc content. Ecobrass is particularly resistant to corrosion. It easily complies with the requirements of DIN50916-T1 regarding stress corrosion cracking – using the new valves is therefore an investment in the future, as their exceptional durability pays off.
The use of Ecobrass as a brass material not only complies with future legal requirements, but also takes into account safety-related, hygienic, and health-promoting aspects. The very high copper content of 75% contributes significantly to the hygiene of drinking water installations. Ecobrass is listed on both the positive list of the US Environmental Protection Agency and the ECHA positive list, and is thus proven to be hygienic and technically suitable. By using Ecobrass, we are able to meet our high quality standards without the use of lead.

Free-flow Valve
- On the inlet side of the water meter connection fitting
- Function: Main shut-off valve upstream of the water meter
- The shut-off valve minimises flow resistance
- The straight-line flow means less pressure is lost.
KFR Valve
- Function: Prevents backflow from the domestic installation into the mains supply.
- On the outlet side of the WZAG.
- The KFR valve is a free-flow valve with a combined backflow preventer.
- The KFR valve often also contains a drain screw.
